We are situated in the main car park in the centre of this small town on the west of the New Forest.

There are a good selection of shops including a Co-Op, butchers, fish & chip shop, Chinese take away and Indian restaurant etc. for all your requirements. Cycle hire is also available.

We offer a range of accommodation including a small area for hike tents with an area for cooking if required. We do not have any bunk beds but the main hall can sleep about twenty bodies--more if you are very friendly! There is a small Leaders room that can sleep two or three and an extension that can sleep five or six.

We have a fitted kitchen with a micro-wave, fridge, toaster, all plates, cutlery, coking utensils and gas cooker.

Separate male and female toilets with a hot shower and hot water to the washbasins.

We ask for donations of £2. 00 per head per night inclusive of electricity, gas and wood.

The Avon Valley Path

This is one of the most scenic walks in Hampshire that covers a distance of 34 miles from Salisbury to Christchurch. It is the same distance from Christchurch to Salisbury!

This route is an ideal weekend activity for Scouts and Explorer Scouts and whichever way you walk it, our HQ is exactly half way!
